About Me
Because both of my parents worked, most of my childhood was spent with my grandmother and eight great-aunts in their family home place on 120 acres in southern Arkansas. My childhood roaming the woods barefoot and learning to avoid poisonous snakes, ticks and spiders as well as, learning to garden and track animals, carried over into adulthood. I enjoy everything in nature, understanding that my intuition grows stronger from those experiences. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Art Education and a Master of Education in Art. My other certifications include Art teacher certifications in Arkansas and Texas, a reading specialty (Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction), Reiki Master/Teacher, Crystal Therapy and Tuning Fork training. I have experienced being a professional artist, teacher, muralist, author, insurance agent, hospice home coordinator…
I consider the most important thing that I have accomplished is learning to love. Life has been my teacher, loving and caring for the children that were in my care.
